Contains John Lurie's first film score, the much admired music from the underground classic "Stranger Than Paradise" (in which Lurie also co-stars), directed by Jim Jarmusch. Written entirely for string quartet, this music has been described as "cooly restrained and enticing, with nods to minimalism, blues, and early twentieth century styles."
