The John Lurie National Orchestra will be performing at Joe's Pub on Tuesday December 28 and Wednesday December 29, 1999. Showtimes are 9:00 PM each night. Seating is limited. Fishing with John an outlandishly funny new television series, which aired earlier this year on Bravo and the Independent Film Channel, will be released through Criterion on home video on February 23, 1999 and the DVD in March. The series is written by, directed by, and stars John Lurie leader of the Lounge Lizards who describes FWJ as "Jacques Cousteau on LSD". "Guest Fishermen" on the show include Jim Jarmusch, Tom Waits, Matt Dillon, Willem Dafoe, and Dennis Hopper.
